If the content on the page is more readable, more people will read it. But static, out of date, inaccurate content is more likely to rank lower than other sites because people aren’t interacting. If you update regularly, the search engine will look at your site more frequently. When this happens you have an opportunity to rank higher. For example, Google constantly uses bots to crawl a website for updated or recent content. So, when you make a change to a website and the information is reliable or valuable, it will have a better chance of ranking higher with each update.
A tip for this would be to have a publishing strategy that will allow time to update content and add blog posts to a site, so that content is constantly updated. Whether you update the website every hour or add a blog post twice a week, this is still considered as frequent updates. So don’t think that you have to create a new blog every hour.
Use targeted keywords
It’s a good idea to research keywords to see how many hits that keyword has had. This is so you know whether to use it in your title or meta description to boost your SEO score. It also allows you to see if people are searching for that keyword or not and if not, then you know to not include this. This means that your website will get more hits because google crawlers will see it on your site. Without doing this you might use anything in a title or meta description which won’t rank well.
A top tip is to search for a topic or company that is like yours in Google and see how they’re ranked and what keywords they’re using so you have an idea of what you can use. The keywords that they are being ranked for will be highlighted in bold, to give you an idea of what you should be aiming for.

The number of people using mobile devices instead of computers is unreal. On average nearly 70% of traffic comes from mobile devices. So if someone goes on your website and it’s not optimised, they’ll likely leave and find a site that is. This is because most sites are mobile optimised and adaptable to different devices. If yours isn’t, they are likely to not use it.
To fix this problem, you can test your website using Dev tools on Chrome, or test the site on Google Mobile Speed Test and physical mobile devices to make sure that the experience matches the one you set out to give to users.
Extend your SEO strategy to Social Media
A good social media presence is good for a business, but this can also contribute to a good SEO score. Although there isn’t a direct link to social media shares and likes, it’s believed that there is a correlation between social media presence and SEO rankings. This can be achieved by what content is being published on the platform. The more content that is published or shared on social media should then increase the traffic on your website. This can result in a boost in your SEO score.
